Vertical stabilizer and outer wing loading control
module. This module makes it possible to make comparative analysis of
loading degree of vertical stabilizers and outer wing panels by way of:
- computing the aircraft current mass, balance, and moments of inertia with
due regard for different versions of external stores;
- determining maximum values of bending moments and computing their critical
values in test cross-sections.
The module can give respective
recommendations in the course of aircraft operation.

Engine diagnostic control module. This module
makes it possible to carry out diagnostics of the combustion chamber, gas flow
duct, fuel and oil systems, as well as engine vibration control, within the band
of individual tolerances, by graphically representing and documenting the data
both for individual flights and from flight to flight.
The modules used for control of loading of vertical stabilizers and outer
wing panels, and for diagnostic control of engines, are ones of the most
prospective trends in the field of development of flight data processing
systems, because, using the mathematical tools, they allow for change-over from
mere recording of a failure of one or another aircraft system to forecasting of
such failure and its correction in proper time.
